"Blue Skies" is a 1926 Irving Berlin song that has since become a jazz standard. This arrangement is four pages and includes the melody with chord accompaniment in the left hand, a sample written-out solo section, and an ending. All dampening and pedaling is notated, along with chord symbols and voicings.
This arrangement is at an intermediate level and requires decent four mallet technique, as well as some dampening.
This can be an effective standalone piece for a classical or jazz musician, or simply good learning material for someone who wants to learn how to play solo vibraphone arrangements. Feel free to write to me at olivermaymanmusic@gmail.com with any questions about the arrangement.
